Well i was told that you cant run the juice (plate kit) with the RPM intake because it does not have an open bore plenium, is this true is there anyone out there running a plate kit on there performer RPM????

thanks

I'm pretty sure I saw someone running a plate system with a performer RPM at a car show, I don't know if they had to modify it or not. I remember your earlier post about wanting to use a Torker II. If your main concern is performance on the nitrous, that manifold would be a better choice but it wouldn't have the throttle response on the street.
However, bleeding off some of the low end torque is a good way to increase traction and since you'll be above 4000 rpms after first gear, you won't miss the loss in low speed torque.
Basically, I don't agree with the others that the torker II is a bad manifold and I think with a nitroused street car its a pretty trick piece.

The problem with dual plane intakes is that in some cases, the plenum divider is in the way of the spray bar pattern of the nitrous plate. You don't get even distribution on either side of the plenum divider. The solution is to mount the nitrous plate sideways, so the spray bars run from driver-passenger side, instead of front-back. That usually solves the issue.

I have never seen a problem with using a nitrous plate and a dual plane intake. The holes on the spray bars are at 45 degrees to each side of center, specifically so that they can be used with a dual plane intake. If there was a problem, Moxie's suggestion would work, but I can't imagine that being necessary.

Take care,
