good deal?
Did I get a good deal? I did'nt give any $ yet but made a deal for $300. It's an 88 GT 100,000mi been in a accident rear axle is bent right 1/4 panel is banged up, doors and front clip are salvagable. The engine and trans(aod) are 100% intact and unmodified, the interior is trashed (water damage) the ecm and wiring looks good. I also got him to throw in a American sports car 2 1/2" cowl hood that has never been used or painted. My intentions are to strip the car and junk it. I think I raked him!!! also the car has'nt moved since 1994.

if the aod trans hasnt been used since 94,you probably have to rebuild it the engine if it has sat since 94 you may want to take out the plugs & squirt a little bit of wd-40 or something in the cylinders to free up the ring's then turn it over by hand ,with a ratchet & socket on the crankshaft bolt, even still you got a pretty good deal, good luck.:)oh yeah most definatly change the oil & filter.l8ter

I'm not gonna use this stuff right away and I planned on tearing the engine down before I did anything with it. I figured just the engine and trans alone were worth the $300 even if they needed rebuilding, and the other stuff is just a bonus. Am I right?

oh yes heck the front clip ,door's & hot rod hood will probably get you 2 or 3 times you dinero back ,yes -a good deal:D :D

I'm just trying to find good deals and stock up on some parts cause Fox body parts seem like thier turning into gold these days. The only way I seem to find deals is to buy a junker and strip it. It makes me feel kinda bad though cause its one less stang out on the road.
