Those with Firehawk SZ50 EP?

Do you like them. I know the wet grip is excellent how about the dry grip? Is the tread wear and road noise acceptable. I have to decide what tires I want within a week.

I am also considering the Michelin Pilot Sport, Bridgestone Potenza RE730, and BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDW. So if you have only input on those let me hear it.

Had them for two years now (15,000 miles).
Wearing very well and I've found them to be an excellent all-around street tire.
Good dry grip (really noticable on curves and launching) and the wet grip is - as you noted - excellent. Noise - what noise? I never noticed, but my exhaust covers any tire noise anyway. Pricy but worth it, to me. There are other good tires out there if you want to go a bit cheaper but I'll probably replace my SZ50's with the same thing. Recommended.

Thanks Mr. 5.0, I am almost positive I'll go with the Firehawks as I have heard only positive things about them.

I have the Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP's on my stang. I have 245/45ZR17 front on 8.5in ROH's and 285/40ZR17 on 9.5inchers out back. I love them so far, great dry traction, they are pretty hard so they do perform better once they heat up a little, but thats why they have such a great treadwear rating. The wet performance is good, but i must admit the Summitomo's i had on there before were the best in wet traction I have ever seen, they are also cheaper, but dont last nearly as long. Go to tirerack.com, they have great prices, and all the specs on all sorts of tires, and you can compare them all there. Overall, I'd reccomend.

I replaced the original equipment Goodyear Gatorbacks with the SZ50's and I love them. Better wet traction and better wear. I would recommend them as well.
