$400-$425 To much to pay to paint a Hood?
 

I just bought a new Cobra R SVO hood from Age Classic Design. The hood was like $450 shipped, But the Hood is GREAT. The qualty is very good, and the underside looks just as good as the top. But I had a paint and body guy from where I live come over and quote me a price on getting it painted. He said for everything it would be around $400 - $425, BUT that included painting my Mirrors aswell. Now I have seen this guys work and he is known for A GREAT Job. He's like one of the best painters around where I live. But Is this a good price or not?

no,I dont think thats a bad price,if it is fiberglass or composite,he will have to primer it and block the hood to make sure its smooth and doesn't have any imperfections,i do this stuff for a living,so i don't think its a terrible price.
