I am a 21 year old college student. I live in Aiken, South carolina. I would like to get a racing licences. I have no idea whcih one to get or where to go. I would like oneday to race Nascar. I know this is every mans dream but I would like to know where to start. Also what would it cost to get it? What type of car would i need also. Any help will be appreciated.

Do a search on American Iron series, and Factory Five Racing (FFR) Cobra spec racing.
That, and look into SCCA racing.

(I dont know, personally, as I dont have a certified license.)

Most of the Nascar drivers start out racing in Late Model classes and sprint car racing on the local dirt tracks and SCCA like Drudis mentioned.
That's how Jimmy Spencer started out and his hometown(Berwick, Pa.) is about 20 miles from me.
