Got myself a new LIZARD!
 

That's right ... the dealership came to my store to ask me if they could sell my car!!! They said the American market was crazy right now... so I agreed, and 2 days later I had a new 2002 GT.

I know for a fact the tranny is better in those (new tremec), but I am also starting to wander if they improved the shocks and springs. The ride quality is so much better and sharp! Another thing... the sound seems to come more from the exaust than the engine on this one. Wander if they have done something there too.

Hopefully, it will be as quick as the other one.

I have never managed to find someone that came close to my times with a stock 99+ GT. --> 13.662

Oh and yes it is still a Lizard even though it is blue. It's just a less comon BLUE Lizard!

Good score man, I hope it's as fast as the old lizard.

I know the people and owner of the Ford dealership in my town very well. 2 weeks ago on a sunny day, he drove infront of my store because he saw the GREEN lizard shining out in front he came in.

He tells me ... after asking me the mileage (55000km) - I have an opportunity to sell your car. Because it still had 5000km of warranty left and they can extend the waranty when the car is still in the warranty period... he could resell the car used with an extend warranty, make money on that and make money on selling me a new one.

My old car was a lease... and my new car is a lease... even though there is a $2000 price difference (higher) between the cars he gave me a deal so that I pay virtually the same amount per month.

Oh... and the new 02 Stang have a 5 years/100,000 warranty on power train!!!! YEAHHHHH!

I cannot wait to see your new ride, I hope you are not driving it around in the 25cm of snow we just received!

Anyhow, I have seen Lizard do some street racing and man can that MOFO drive! If I had a T5, I would ask for lessons :D
