how fast am I going?
 
Just put 3.55's in my car. Haven't got the speedo gear yet. If my speedo says I'm going 40 anyone know how fast am I really going?

When are you getting the speedo gear installed? You should have done both of them at the same time. No guessing how fast you're going and making excuses to the cop when he pulls you over.

Jason. i was in the same boat as you. i had 3.08's and put in 3.55's. if you are reading 40 on your speedo, subtract 10 mph. i have been clocked. by the way. in order to make your speedo correct, Mustangs Unlimited sells the gear assembly for about $40. it is only for 3.55's and a T5 tranny. you cant get just the speedo gear for our combo, i dont think. good luck!

What $40 package are you talking about? I got the simple $12 speedo gear, slapped it in and I'm good. What additional parts does the $40 package have?
