extra gear costs
 

now ive heard that you have to buy the gear, new speedo and also a installation kit which is like $120 or so. then i heard that most places that will do it nice and for really cheap will cost about $300-$350 for the whole install labor. now that is hittin in the $600 range for just a gear. i was mostly told it was $450 or so for a complete gear install. if anyone has gotten a gear, i was just wondering how much you paid in total...this is gettin me angry on not having a set price and it goin up more and more each time :mad: thanx oh and happy easter

ok 189 form my gears and 250 Installed, so $439 Thats in the car for ever thing.

FYI: I paid $200. for the FMS gears and $250 installation; the installer provided the installation parts plus lube. A few bucks for the speedo gear. You shouldn't pay over $500. total, probably less, but a lot depends on the installation costs and who does it.

awsome...i got depressed when i heard over 600. he specifically said something about install parts and all that. now i get to call around to see who has it the cheapest....thanx
