Cat Back Exhaust System

I have a 2002 GT 2V 5 Speed Convertible. I am installing a MAC cold air intake and MARCH underdrive pulleys, and I want to install a cats back exhaust. I am thinking either Flowmasters or MAC flowpaths. I am going to keep the stock cats and H-pipe. Does anyone have similar set-ups and how do they sound?

I have the BASSANI cat back exhaust(non chambered mufflers)and it sounds sweet! Even before I added the BASSANI X pipe w/cats, it still sounded sweet with the stock H pipe. Its not extremely loud like flowmaster and has less drone, yet still sounds aggresive. Then again, you may like the real loud and drony sound! I see you are leaning torward "chambered mufflers," but I thought I would just give you my input. On the other hand, I would go with STEEDA underdrive pulleys instead of MARCH. Of course, these are just my opinions. Good luck with whatever you do!

Thanks

I did more research after your comments and it was a toss up between the Bassani and Magna flow, I ended up ordering the Bassani cat backs but I think I'll get the Magnaflow x-pipe w/cats later, and I will not end up getting the March pulleys. The steeda pulleys keep getting recommended by many people, so your info really helped me out and made me do more investigating. Thanks. And to other Mustang hop-up junkies out there, do your research until you feel 100 percent comfortable with your decision. I'm so glad I didn't buy that crap I was originally looking at. Thanks again.

Im glad that I could be of some assistance to you! I see that you have changed your mind from your original post but trust me, you wont regret it. What you have purchased or may purchase later are very good choices. I know you may have to shell out the cash, but your paying for quality. Good luck!
