Which adjustable fuel regulator?

Im thinking of buying an adjustable fuel regulator now while i have no "Real" mods. Im thinking mines shot anyway. I was thinking about the aeromotive or BBK. Is there really any difference in a regulator? Im planning on doing some more serious mods as the money becomes available like headers, x pipe, and eventually the TDC twin turbo kit. Also has anyone ever used a TB spacer? I know how it works but it doesnt sound like it do much good on a MPI vehicle like it will on a TBI.

Just go with the cheap one. Leaning down on your pressure may actually pic you up a bit. You have to try different things.

FPR...

I have a Kirban ($65)..no gripes, bitches or moans. Looks good too. Nice concise directions.

Go with the Kirban it's a sharp looking unit that wont get in the way, it's rebuildable and less expensive than the Aeromotive and BBK. I had the Aeromotive and sent it back because it got in the way of the tb with my stock intake.

Another vote for the Kirban.

Sounds like everyone like the Kirban reg. Thanks for the replies. Im guessing no one has ever used the TB spacer?

spacer...

Yeah, I got a spacer. Used it for awhile with no probs. Put the EGR back on for troubleshooting and just left it there because I have too much other crap to do.

So it replaces the EGR assembly? did you notice any performance increase with it?

Hozer 88GTConv 04-05-2002 10:47 PM

Nah...

I ripped most of the EGR stuff off before I finally got around to the plate.
I didn't notice any difference although I ripped everything off at the same time I installed my headers.
