BBK Off-road H-pipe install?

Does anyone have any tips or pointers? Is there anything special I will need? Has anyone done this with minor mods like my car? if so any power improvement? Thanks

I had basiclly the same stuff done to my car as you have when I did the H pipe, but I did shorty headers at the same time. I noticed a lot of improvement. I don't think I lost any torque at all. You don't need any special tools at all. It should go on with out problems. Good luck. If you have any questions, just ask. Take it easy.

First the stock 94 bolts that hold the pipe to the mufflers will not be able to be reused most likely, get you some new bolts, washers, and nuts, for that. Second, the off road pipe may or may not have the smog tube, if it doesn't, remove the tube all together, plug the hose at the pump end where it came out and plug the Off road pipe too. This is the most important, for a perfect fit with no leaks you need to do the install on a drive on ramp, if you jack the car up with a jack on the frame the frame will be torqued slightly and will shift when it is put down for the test drive. Good luck and you can feel the difference with those off road pipes!
