A/C Question

The A/C compressor on my '67 coupe is starting to make some noise so I'm thinking about replacing it. Any suggestions as to where to find a rebuilt? It is a Tecumseh cast iron model. Also, I was told that if I change the compressor I will need to change the dryer and the expansion valve. They are both relatively new so I am not sure why I should go to the additional expense. Any thoughts? Thanks, E.

I went through a lengthy AC dilema when switching from R12 to R134 freon and I didn't hear or learn anything that would make that true. But you should replace them if you do ever convert to R134.
