how do you know when muffler needs replacement??
 

well besides the rust, i mean do mufflers sound weird when they need replacement? i hear like a cracling noise under my car, my mufflers are very old btw, but i dont see any holes or anything, also hear something making contact underneath like a knocking sound...any opinions?? thnx

it will Rattle the insides Come Apart on them somw times.

well gtsr:rolleyes: , they sound good, but when im driving around, and on deceleration they dont sound right, i guess thats my instinct there, perhaps i will just replace with a mac catback and put chrome tips back on, then i cant go wrong. thnx
