Which Clutch
I went to the track yesterday for the first time this year and was shifting from 3-4th and my centerforce df just gave up, rolled through the traps at a miserable 13.00@100mph the clutch has never been miss shifted or anything but just didn't hold for some reason , anyway was wondering if anyone can suggest another clutch that might handle 4500-5000rpm launces and 500ft/pnds of torque, hopefully without to huge pedal effort.

I take it that you've adjusted it recently? There's 1/8" to 1/4" of wiggle room for clutch release fork?

I thought RAM made clutches that held that kind of power. I see tons of their ads in all the magazines. What was that DF rated for? Aren't they supposed to handle that power level? I was considering one for street use, with around 350 lb-fts.

DF are supposed to hold twice as much as a stock clutch. That's why I'm leaning towards his cable being out of adjustment.
