ATTENTION: 2000 GT Automatics
 

If you are debating on a Diablo chip be warned. They can't seem to get the correct program for the autos. The chip will actually make the tranny slip into nuetral on WOT. This has occured in two othe 2000's as well. I had Ford run a diagnostics on the tranny and it's fine. I am awaiting an answer from Diablo. Until then I guess it's Hypertech until they can get their act together. I will let you all know my results!
P.S. It's not all GT's just the 2000GT Automatics.:mad:

Have you talked to Diablo about the problem? I also have a diablo chip and haven't noticed any problems. Funny thing is that I am putting in 4:10 gears this week and will have the chip flashed to correct th speedometer. I also and going to have the shift firmess done to compensate for my trans go kit that will be installed the following week. Now I am getting a little concerned about the whole proccess. I would hate to trash the diablo chip for another, but if it is a company defect than I guess I will have to swallow the 200+ dollars. Let me know what diablo says. :confused:
