Wuts a Stroker
 
I've been around for a few months and i basically know a stoker kit increases cid by lengthing the stroke ... What else should i know about them? HP increase Torque Increase? Is there a FAQ anywhere

Can't go wrong with a nice stroker.
 
Well a stroker is going to make more power almost 99.999999% of the time. Let's compare a 350 vs. a 383. With the same exact parts, the 383 will put out 55+hp more, and will have alot more torque. I love strokers.

Not trying to confuse you, but something worth noting is there are also de-stroked engines. This is done to acheive higher rpm's quicker, and is most beneficial in road racing applications.

Reminds me of an email I received from an attractive female in Florida, who was new to this site, and decided I would be a good person for her to ask her questions to.

Her first question was the best.

Considering it would be every single time I drove, for several years, and wouldn't involve any nagging, I would.
