Carb Intakes Which one?

My ancient Offenhauser intake isn't cutting it anymore so I'm looking to upgrade. My other mods are in my sig.

you didnt say if the car was street driven (weekends or daily) if it was a weekend street/strip car i would recommend the torker 2, if you were to drive it on the street often i would say the performer rpm

Mostly street driven but losing a little bit of power on the street is not a big issue.
I'd really like to hear from someone who's used a torker II or who's driven a 302 stang with one.

Right now there's a local shop that has the Air-Gap RPM on for $315CDN ($185 American).

Go with the straight RPM. I believe the air gap intake would be a mis-match to the rest of your combo.

Why would this be a mismatch? The runner length of the RPM is the same as the air-gap the only difference is the separation from the oil and other sources of heat. Also keep in mind that my heads are ported and flow 240+ on the intake and close to 200 on the exhaust. Oh yeah, I forgot to add my motor is just over 10:1 compression.

I talked to alot of local carbed stang guys before I bought my intake. I got the Wieand Stealth after talkin to them. For the price the power isnt to bad. For a mostly street use but occasional track visit I'd say thats what to use. My motor is very close to stock thats why I got it, If you plan on doing more mods than you already have Id get the Performer but if your planning on staying with this combo for a while get the Weiand. Oh yeah, I give $154 American for my Weiand from Summit.

Thanks, pony_power_90, I'm going to see how much Stealth is gonna cost up here and how long it'll take to get it. I used to get a lot of stuff from Summit but the Canadian Dollar has dropped From $.70 American to around $.62 Am. which now makes it cheaper to buy from Canadian shops.
