Stop Miles
A couple of my friends drive LS1's and they can stop the miles form running up by taking out a fuse after they start there car, my warrenty is almost up in another 4000 miles and i was wondering if anyone knows how to strop the miles from running up in a 2000 mustang gt. Please help me thanks

i dont know about a 2000 gt but i had a 95 stang and when i was installing a cd player i blew a fuse and the odometer did stop working. the only problem was the speedometer and dome light stopped working too. the same fuse is used for all three items. so unless you want to drive around not knowing how fast youre going i think youre stuck. unless of course things have been chaged since 95.

number 1, what you are attempting is illegal...basically it's fraud. the moral side of the coin is: how would you feel if that "pristine 98 GT with 32,000 original miles" you just bought actually had 80,000 miles?
number 2, the dealer/service tech can plug a computer up to your car and tell exactly how many miles are on it. this you cant beat unless you fork over the cash to replace the entire brain of the car |
