Fox bodies with H&R supersport springs
I am thinking about putting H&R supersport springs on my '92 GT. It already has Tokico 5-way adj. shocks and struts. Anyone have pics of their fox bodies with H&R springs? I am going to install MM C/C plates, should I also install a bump steer kit or offset rack bushings?
Thanks, Ryan |
Ryan, I have a 90 coupe with H&R race springs and tokico 5 ways. Also have the MM C/C plates-nice pieces. I bought the offset rack bushings but my alignment guy, who I know well and trust, said that i didn't need them and that everythig adjusted fine. If i can remember correctly the instructions recomend putting as much caster equally as possible to make the car drive better especially around corners. Anyone correct me if i'm wrong. Check my pic in users rides under coupes. Sits a little high for me, bad picture too, good luck. Mike

The offsetr and bumpsteer arent always necessary. Most people just slap them in when doing it.
Probably will be correct, but the right way to to do a before/after and see if the bumpsteer recommends it. IMOHO, I would just do the offset POLY bushings. |
