Who's going to the 5.0 Civil Wars?
 

I'm wandering if anyone here is going to the 5.0 Civil Wars this weekend at Rockingham.

I hope I can see some of you all there. That would kick ***. Let me know if any of you are going.

I'm planning on going Saturday, along with Tim C, Mike Navigator, Budman94GT, MstngScoob, and RS350. Were all going to cruise down there in a Mustang Convoy. Oh along with a few other friends that arent part of the site.

Radical GT wants to meet us at rockingham.

The wife and I are driving down tomorrow evening. We tried to find someplace to stay in Rockingham, but no luck. I think we are just going to drive over to Aberden (sp?) and stay.

There is almost always a last minute cancellation. Try the Days Inn or Holiday Inn across from the Huddle House(I think its a Huddle.. breakfast house or so sort) at the end of town(Can't remember the road). I always have good luck there, the Holiday is a little more but worth it. I usually try to make the civil war in the spring and the Fast Fords in October, not sure this year but I may ride my bike down there for the day(2 hour ride for me).

Oh and you might want to check out www.orbitz.com or some other online travel agency, they will tell you if anything is available and you can usually get a better price than just showing up, Good Luck.

Just let us know where Radical GT wants to meet up. Tim will probably be leading the convoy since he's going a way that I'm not familar with. As to how we figure out what order to go in...I'm sure it wont stay that way for long.:D hehehe.

Hey Mercury, I'm going down tomorrow. We can meet at the entrance gate where you buy your tickets. I'll be their around 9:00 a.m. I'll be wearing a NOS T-Shirt and Hat, shorts. Look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow!!!
