Looks good man! I like that silver. I've thought about painting mine either silver with darker silver flames or pearl white with pearl purple ghost flames.

Wow love the silver, real sharp ride you got there...and the 98 is real cool too...you have to be proud riding around in them...(for the ladies, check out the houses in the back ground of the 98) sorry but they are sweet too.. Odie:D

Thanks for all the great comments on the car. I really like the silver as well. It is the original paint. I use Meguires waxes and wash.
Odie, As for the houses in the backround of the 98 Contour, they are my neighbors, I am standing in front of my house to take the pictures. We only have parking on that side of the street. I will have to add a pic of my house with all my wife's handywork in her garden. There are some flowers blooming right now, tulips I think??? elliotness, I noticed in your sig. you have a 97 Mountaineer. I don't have any pics posted yet but we also have in our Ford fleet a 96 Explorer with the AWD V8. We use it primarily as a tow vehicle for our horse trailer and jet ski. I am currently petitioning the boss for a Flowmaster system for it. For the record, the last Ford in the Fleet is a 94 Tempo 4 door, 4 cyl auto (my commuter car). Again, thank you for all your comments. They are greatly appreciated. |
Looks Very Nice! I love the colour, I've always liked the GT's abit more then the LX's.

Absolutely beautiful car! Being only #6 of 7 made like it, what are you gonna do? Keep it stock? Anyways good luck and that was a very smart buy. I liked your story of how you got it.
Take care, James |

I had started to modify the car right after I purchased it. Flowmaster mufflers, caster/camber plates, etc. When I discovered how unique it was, I STOPPED. I am currently seeking the stock strut mounts to put back in place of the caster/camber plates. I left the mufflers in place (they sound better) and the Hurst shifter. I am going to switch back to Goodyear tires in the Fall. Most car shows allow 3 to 5 modifications for stock classes. I put the stock shifter stick back for Mustang Club of America shows (just bolt it in place of the Chrome stick). So, the car will remain the way it is. I have to change my information because I am leaving the stock converters in place as well. Thanks for the compliments. I did run CarFaxes on the other 6 cars and according to their data base, all are still registered and on the road. Mine is the only one sold in PA. |
:)

Thank you all so much!
I really appreciate everyone's comments about my Mustang. I waited a very long time in my life to have a car that I was proud of (not that I'm that old but I've wanted one since I was 15!) and I 'm glad that the car I finally aquired was a Mustang. When I got this car I was actually looking for a Corvette. Thanks again. |
