SSM Liftbars Vs. Lakewood Liftbars, And A Quick Clutch Adjustment Question.
What are better the lakewood liftbars, or ssm, or is there much difference? i know i can get the lakewood liftbars. how hard are they to put in, and what else will i need to do?
to the next question. how much slack should i have in my clutch pedal so i dont fry the throwout bearing? i was tod that if there is no slack, that the throwout will always be moving, and then it will burn out a lot faster. thanks |
PLEASE HELP!?!

You shouldn't have any slack in the clutch cable at all, you need to make sure the TOB bearing doesn't sit against the PP when it is in gear. You can try to look up in the bell to see it, that is easier with a Blowproof bell, although you can see it the stocker with a flash light.
I answer the bar question in yor other thread.. ;) |
