Pushrods w/ new heads

I'm putting Ported E7 heads with 1.6 roller rockers on a 147K mi engine. Now my question is should I change the pushrods to a hardened rod w/ guide plates?

Do your heads still use the pedestal (bolt down) style rockers? If so you can use the stock pushrods. You don't need guide plates for bolt down rockers. I had my stock heads milled .007" and I'm using the stock pushrods and rockers. Everything is fine and it has been over 20k miles now.

Its a BIG $$$ expense to convert.
You need screw in studs, the machining for them, the pushrods, the guideplates... Hundreds of dollars of parts.
IMOHO, no way!
