Hood Clearance on a 79?
 

I'm upgrading the stock intake and carb to a Torker II and Holley 4150 on my 5.0 and I think i oughta replace that single snorkel air cleaner ... but with the relatively low hood clearance, what type of open air cleaner will fit ok?

I'm not sure how much this will help but I had a 79 351w and we never had a problem getting the hood to shut on that set up. It was a stock intake and 4v carb with an open type 12" filter. If you need it you can get a low profile set up.
