Drip Rail Molding

I just ordered a set of drip rail moldings since mine disappeared some years ago. My question is how do you install the moldings? Do they just snap in place over the drip rails or is there any type of adhesive required? I've heard they're a pain in the butt to install or remove.

Hi Kisner
Well there not hard to install if you take your time. I did mine in about 15 min as follows: sand the surface area only at the edges( this will help prevent the paint from chiping where it flows onto the roofs edge) It'll help the trim 'slide' over the boby moulding. ,line it up at the rear first push it on almost flatwith an upward tilt for the first few (2-3 inches) & from the bottom up the rest of the way. be shuer not let the other end "wack your car" OUCH as it 's very flexable .Now just take your time & work it bottom-up pressingon thr rest of he way . no glue or sealent is needed as it is a very tight fit. Let me know if ya need to remove it :0 I have a plan for that to:) using a bottle opener I hope this helps.

No, a few months from doing. Still block sanding and priming. Hopefully will get the car painted by July at the latest.
