Storing My mustang? Question?

Moving out of state and I am leaving my car. :( How long can I store my stang before I should drain the oil and put it on blocks??? What else should I do?? Should I even worry about it??

Thanks

I know a lot of people store there cars without fluids. but i got to thinking about it and wouldn't you think that not having fluid in the engine for an extended amount of time would dry the rings out and make them brittle? And similar things might happen in the tranny too. I dunno, its just a theory. Maybe it doesn't hurt a thing, i've never had any experience with it myself.

if you plan on it sitting for more than a month or 2 i would put fuel stabilizer in the gas you can get stp's brand from most of you local part stores and the dierections for ratio is on the bottle i also recomend running the car for at least a half hour after you put the stabilizer in so the it has entered the whole fuel system i cant tell you how many times i have had to empty motorcycle gas tanks and carbs cause people store them over the winter and let the fuel go bad also fuel that is going bad can leave deposits that can clog the needles in carbs im sure it could do the same to injectors and id also put it on jackstands with clean oil and filter

i dont know mush about storing cars but i know when we store our dirt bikes we put stable in the gas, drain the oil and take out the plug(s) and fill the cylinders with wd40 then put old plugs in it. after taking it out of storage we then leave the plugs out and turn the motor over a few times to get the left over wd40 out. but of course we put oil back in the motor. But i am not sure if u can do that with a car also. We mostly only do that in two strokes.
Or instead of useing wd40 get a few cans of fogging oil

those r just some of my ideas not sure if they work in cars also
