289 timing, dwell
 

Rebuilt my 66 2+2 w/ 289 4v several (7) years ago.

Am just now getting the car running. What are the reccomended timing and dwell settings? I have removed the original California emisions, if that makes any difference.

Dwell should be 28 degrees.

Timing, with todays goofy gas. Run around 6 to 9 degrees. See if it cackles. If not the higher setting is what you want.
