Just got off the phone with Shannon and I asked to talk to Billy. And when he got on the phone I told him that I wanted to congratulate him on his win at Columbus!! He joked with me and told me that it was my turn to be in the winner cirlce at Maple Grove :) He said he would take it easy on me :) But I just wanted to say congrats to those guys!! He definately deserved that win!! Final E.T. was 6.88 202.88mph!!! Who says nitrous can't win in Pro 5.0?? Turbo what????????

Actually I have a lot of parts ready to go on it. I have hte complete fuel system, ignition system, roll cage, and alot of other misc stuff ready to be installed as soon as I have time. I also traded the notchback for a crap load of parts and some cash to boot. So as soon as all those parts get here, al li should like is the installation of everything, wheels, tires, paint and the little odd and ends type stuff. Im workin on it, its just not as fast as I'd like it to be. Man just realized how cool it would be to talk to Billy Glidden on the phone. Granted Ive met Bob but it was just a "Hi hows it goin" thing while gettin his autograph. That would be so cool to jstu be able to call Billy Glidden and shoot the bull. Your lucky man.

Hey Brad, sounds like your car is gonna be a killer when it gets done!! Yeah, talking to Billy is pretty fun!! He's a really nice guy, and after you get to know him and everything you really don't think about how famous and everything he is. He's just a normal person. I can arrange for you to meet him if you would want :)

I got to see his 6.90 somthing qualifying run at 201 mph, I believe it was. Unreal how fast those Pro 5.0 guys are going.

Before his first qualifiying run, I walked over to his pit area and watched as they were putting the final touches on the motor. Shannon was doing all the work, Billy must have been in the trailer.
