What Can I Expect At The Track?

i am going to the track tomorrow (friday) to see what my car will run, i haven't ran it with yet the heads and cam. What do yall think it will run. Without the heads & cam i ran a 14.3 on street tires, now i have nitto's out back.

I would expect a 13.4-13.5 with traction. Good Luck.

With a 1.8 60', you could possibly get a low low 13. You will have to let us know how it does. But, don't worry about how it does the first time out. I was expecting more out of my car, but tuning and tranny problems prevented me from getting into the 12's. It bothered me at first, but I realized, there are many factors that could prevent you from doing what you wanted to do, so don't worry if you don't do well. Good Luck man. Take care.

With that set up and your most recent mods, w/ a good launch you could go low 13's.

13.6@106.5 good luck w/ the new found power.

Dont get down, traction and tuneing will get you into the 12's.

well guys we had a great time at the track friday night, i wish i could say the same for my car. the first run i made, i pulled straight to the starting lane without killing my car to let it cool down. I ran a 13.69 @ 103 mph with a 2.12 60' ft. I was real happy because i granny shifted the gears and didn't get to great of a takeoff, it felt real strong. My second run i didn't get a great launch (still getting use to the nitto's) but i missed 3rd gear. When i missed 3rd gear something tore loose in my centerforce clutch, the pedal got real stiff, so i let off of it and parked it. later when we went to leave i cranked it and couldn't put it in gear. So i killed it, put it in gear and then cranked it and it moved forward with the clutch pedal all the way down. Well to make a long story short we almost got all the way home and the clutch gave out. I had to get it towed the rest of the way. It was alright though me and my friend had an awesome time and it was alright. I was just disappointed in the centerforce though, i thought it would be able to take more abuse than just a missed shift. Any recommendations on clutches:)
