What spark plugs should I use?

I am building a 347 with and will run 10 psi with a vortech V1 T trim. What is a good spark plug to run?

Need more info

What kind of heads are you planning to use with the 347?

10 pounds on a 347?

It's your money.

I am using trick flow o-ring heads, sportsman block with main girdle, billet crank, 4340 chromoly H beam rods, F303 roller cam, Ross pistons. If that cant take 10 psi I will go back to Toyota SupraTT power. LOL

With my Trick Flow TW's I use the good old Copper Autolites #3924. With the boost, you'll probably want to step down a heat range to the 23's.

Can I ask why you went with a 347 over the 331, especially since you're going to stuff 10 psi through it? Just curious.

Because I got the parts cheap. Thanks for the info Eric.

Phillip

That's cool. Glad I could help.

The billet crank must be unreal. Definitely not cheap! Keep us posted on the buildup.

Just make sure you've got a really, really, good fuel system and a good tune with a wide band O2 on a dyno and you should be ok for a while:D .

Just out of curiousity, why the f-cam? I would think a custom cam would do you alot better with what your planning.

Oh, and where in NC you located? Notice my sig.

Yeah, those little tid-bits of info makes a difference. :)

You should go to your user control panel and make yourself a signature with all of the pertinent info. It will help you to get better replies from other members, and keep me from making stupid remarks. :)

A 347 w/ 10 pounds of boost is still pushing the limit, but at least you're going into it with the "right" parts.

You've got a fun future ahead of you.

Take care,
-Chris
