seat question?
 

Has anyone every done any research on what types of front leather seats will fit-up and look good in an '89LX. I have tan cloth and would like to upgrade to black leather in the front. Shopping around on ebay, there looks to be a lot of black leather front seats from a variety of different types of cars. Anyone know of any particular models that work well. I know the seats from sn95 models will work from reading the article on fordmuscle.com. Will all newer model (94-02) seats bolt into an '89? I'm in no hurry and was just wondering what seats I can keep an eye out for that will work, look good, and that I might be able to get at a bargain.

I think any front seat out of any mustang will fit in your 89. I've seen 94-98 gt leather seats in a hatchback before and it looked good! The rear seats is what you would have trouble with. I also had tan cloth in my 89 coupe and I bought 88 GT black cloth seats and they fit perfect and look much better. I also redid the whole interior black.
