The car is running too rich especially in the lower rpms! Sounds like you need to turn down the FP. Ideally, you want a 13.2-13.5 a/f ratio @ wot for a n/a car. There is more power in it w/ tuning, how much I dont know. How is the tune set up now?

Stang Runner 05-12-2002 10:47 PM

Rember I am speed Denscity it will run rich when it is At low Rpms with out bruning a new chip...

still kinda funny that I was making power at 6k with the same cam, rockers and heads.. still pretty good numbers... better than my carbed ones ;-)

you have GOT to get that swapped over to mass air and get an aggressive cam in there.

Go after an Ed Curtis cam, and you'll see over 300rwhp.

have you had it to the track yet?

Stang Runner 05-13-2002 09:13 PM

well I cant wait to get the NO2 on it I have a 75 shot and will work to get a bit more power out of it has it is.

Dark Knight 05-14-2002 11:37 AM

you'll have fun when you run it... should pull at least 103-104 in the 1/4... ;-)

exgmguy 05-14-2002 06:24 PM

I agree. It is a tad rich, but nice numbers for sure!

Unit 5302 05-14-2002 09:37 PM

Nice number indeed. Especially since SD can't take any mods, hehehe. You're just another SD guy to point to when that comment pops up. You do realize that right? :D
