Ran the 1/4 mile tonight
 

Well I ran the car, it was my first time ever running the 1/4 mile. It's my g/f's car and she was sssooo excited to watch it run. First run was against a kid in a late 80's Supra Turbo with atleast exhaust, has some stickers like greddy n stuff like that. I'm in the left lane. I had iced the intake, removed the spare tire and had 1/4 tank of gas.

The second run was against some kid in a Civic. It was lowered w/ rims and atleast exhaust. He kept revvin his engine and makin all this noise and before we staged he made this big burn-out n stuff so I didn't know what was going to happen. I didn't get a chance to talk to him. This race my g/f wanted to be in the car with me so I let her and I also iced the intake on this run. This time I was in the right lane.

All in all I am very pleased with the runs. Those are the only runs we are going to make until more mods are done. I guess it's not too bad for a Auto Convertible. There was another 99-up V6 5 speed Coupe there that ran a 17.1 tonight so I'm happy.

Not too bad times. I was hoping to see some 14's. I ran the same 16.9 with my stock 1994 mustang. But I am glad you beat the civic.
