cobra rear bumper cover
 

I have a 87 GT, and I am looking to replace the stock rear bumper cover with a cobra rear cover from??????? which is the better choice . One made of fiber glass or urathane

To my knowledge, there are no fiber-glass ones, so your choice is easy.....the urethane.

After looking around and making a few calls, most are fiber glass made, and only Cervini's makes a cover out of urethane. How well will the fiber glass cover holes up. The price diff between the two parts is 100$ with the urethane cover costing more. Price is not the issue, wear and tear is!!!!! Rear stock GT covers are made of urethane, can handle a bump well BUT sag over the years. Fiber glass being stiffer wont sag but what about taking a bump. Anybody using fiber glass ground skirts parts, How are they holding up

I'd go with the Cervini piece. I've had mine on for over 4 years. Next to the Cervini hood, it was the best body investment. Altho I haven't taken any bumps, it doesn't sag, etc. even in the Texas heat. :) Very good piece.
