03 vs 02 GT
 

I'm looking at purchasing a Premium GT . I went to Carsdirect.com and got a price of $22,295 (MSRP is $25,015). My question is, when the 03's come out will I be able to get a similiar price or is just because we are near the end of the year? How close to MSRP should I expect to pay for an 03?

Also, I originally thought about the satin silver with the grey interior, however after see some GT's up close, I really liked the mineral grey and charcoal interior. It especially looked cool with the premium wheels. Do you know if mineral grey is going away in 03?

$25k is about what you'll pay for an '03 Premium GT. I think Mineral Gray rules and it should be there in '03 but if not there is a new color called Dark Shadow Gray and it looks almost the same but a little darker. Just go to a local Ford dealer and get a color availability pamphlet. Sonic Blue is cool. Saw it on the '03 Cobra Coupe showcar.

I like the Sonic Blue too. I bought a 2002 GT coupe that color. I have been teased it looks purple, but I like the color regardless.

Given the rebates right now, go for the 02. No real changes set for 03, therefore, go with the 02 and save $1,500. I've ordered a sonic blue prem GT vert. Sonic blue is really an 03 color, however, its being offered now late in the model year. Can't wait to get the car.
