Hey, Blower guys...
What kind of fuel pressure do you see at idle?
After installing my NOVI 1000 on my car, my idle fuel pressure went from about 32 psi to 45 psi. This is with 30 pound injectors, and an FMU. I can't dial it down any lower than that. I blew out the fuel lines with compressed air through the rails, to the tank, etc... and there seem to be no restrictions. I also put on a new Fuel pressure regulator and it still does the same thing. Thanks, Rob Shackleton |
Normal.........with an FMU, you will see a little higher pressure at idle, and even at 45psi, that shouldn't give you any problems...............is there a problem?

It seems to run pretty strong, but does do some quirky idle stuff. I guess I can complain too much. I needed A custom chip before the blower. I am probably sending the computer into fits now. It just seems that at idle, no boost and 30 pound injectors seeing 45 psi has got to be making it run pig rich. It sure smells like it.
Even at 6 psi my car feels very fast. Un-tuned and everything. I need to find a source for a pulley upgrade for my blower. I'd like to see about 10 psi. |
I am anxious to see how this runs.
