To all you guys with an Off-Road H/X Pipe...
can you tell me how you do it? do you get the car inspected then put the pipe back on or what? whats the deal, or u know someone at the shop?? im in NY and we have laws with that ****, i guess its not like that everywhere it seems
|
Im in Canada but i assume the procedure is the same. I just got my offroad Hpipe put on. I went to air care and got it certified for 2 years. Then i got the pipe put on. In two years when i have to recert my car, i will go to the shop and have them swap it for a stock one with cats. then after aircare, swap it back for another 2 years.....easy as pie ;)

....
It helps to know somebody :D And if a cop asks you how you got inspected with no cats always say "I put it on after the inspection." Even if it's rusty and your inspection is from last week :)

I used to live in a province with no emissions laws, (Man I love Alberta).
But when I move to Ontario I guess I'll have the same problem. I was just going to install a high flow cat H pipe. |
i live in so cal, we got the tightest smog police in the world. i have the mac pro chamber. it has a big collector box in the middle where the cats would be. i just bullsht them. i tell them that it is the new hi- flow cat. i know a few smog guys too.
