I get a LOT of viruses!
 

Wow, I've been getting alot of viruses these past few months! I'm glad Norton is on the ball! :)

Anyone else gettin alot?

I dont get too many, but all my customer that come in and have a lot of virus's have one other thing in common also.

A lot of porno. ;)

I've gotten 3 in the past few weeks.Funny thing is,I've got certain things done so I'm protected from these bad boys that send these things,so here's to all you bad boys out there that may just be reading this particular post,keep them coming cuz for as long as I've been on the net,I've neva been infected which is do to reading up on the new viruses that are making their rounds,new protection,etc etc.

There's one person in particular if I keep gettin a virus from them,I will be using a particular program which tracks down the location of the person who sends the virus plus also lets their ISP know whats been goin on as well.

Not a single one!

Well, I may have received a few, but none that were capable of invading a Mac. Not yet anyway.

I always get a bunch in my email but Norton picks it up right away. No big threat to me. I've had a few virii's in my time that my virus scan didn't pick up that I had to go back and take them out of my system on my own. It's not always as fun as it sounds, more the less a pain in the ***. But I keep my virus scan up to date, and I got Norton Firewall so I should be pretty safe. :D

I probably have a bunch of little creepies running around on my hard disk. No virus protection software, no firewall. I've never had a problem with them though? Just don't open funky e-mails, and if I do, I scan them first. Yahoo can scan attachments with Norton.

If i don't know the person sending the e-mail and aren't expecting an attachment it gets trashed before even openeing. i should show the logs i get from my blackice firewall. I have a cable modem so got it to keep people from scanning my system.

knowing Topless, she gets out some disinfectant for her computer!!
 

Topless, you already have viruses. they formed a team called "Blue Screen of Death" and they are lurking...........along with that little furry mouse! BOO!;) :p

THE ONLY WAY YOU GET VIRUSES, IS SURFING THE PORN! so i was told....... :D

As far as only getting virii surfing porn, untrue.. I get most of my viruses from outlook express opening emails in the preview window. Thats when they allll pop up, and I've gotten a few from friends too! :mad:

I work in Gateway tech support so you can imagine all the Virus' I get to hear about the biggest one going around right now isn't even a virus. It's a hoax email that gets sent from a friends computer telling you how to remove a virus that isn't really there. It tells you to delete a file. Unfortunatly this is a file windows needs. Windows ME users are immune since ME brings the file right back.

so how do you know about the porn surfin'? huh? hahaha! j/k
i was only kidding about the viruses Joe. i know all about Outlook and Microcraps stuff. i use Pegasus.
