Fuel pressure won't drop after blower install!
If anyone can help with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. :D I have tried 3 different regulators, including a stock one, and it won't go any lower. With 30 pound injectors on a 302, 45 psi at idle is fouling my plugs and making it run like crap.
I have a 255 lph intank, as well as a T-rex. I bypassed the T-rex, to no avail. I also checked the return line for clogs. Nothing. I noticed a few othres on the Corral have the same problem an nobody seems to have an answer. Even the blower manufacturers! |
even with a stock regualtor you cant get it below 45???
P.S. what happened to your purple hatch? take care, adam |
Are you running an FMU?. If its screwed up it may be the cause of your problem.

The purple hatch is sitting in my garage. Now i've got the light pos fiberglass one.
I do now have the stock regulator on and no difference. Then I took out the FMU. Fuel pressure is now at 38 psi with vacuum, 42 without. I should now try putting on one of my adjustable regulators and see if that makes a difference. |
its gotta be the FMU. its reading where it should with the stock regulator.
i meant the car. is that yours in the picture? i thought you were running a purple hatchback with draglites.... take care, adam |
Oh, :) It is still the same car. I just had it painted.
