what heads will bolt up with no mods?

what heads will bolt up to 00gt block? gt40 or gt40p and also what is the difference of those heads?

okay, first of all the 4.6l block is a totally different design than the 302 motors in being it is overhead cam. the gt40 and gt40p heads are meant for the pushrod small block fords, not the new modular motors. ford makes aftermarket 4.6l heads and there are other places that make aftermarket parts. if you want to find out some other 4.6l speed parts, check out this site http://www.seanhylandmotorsport.com/index.html .

yeah it is, my brother found that site and is really thinking about getting a 99 newer gt/cobra and building the hell out of it to beat our friend with a 98 ram air ta. sean hyland is one of the only places i have found that actaully make 4.6l parts.

hope i helped you out

I'm kinda curious about their 5.4L engines, but I think it would be a bit overboard on gas..... so I'll stick to the 575 short block, blow it, and do the normal bolt ons. crazy motors built spacifically for boosting.
