Got tranny in, how do i loosen new clutch?
Okay, so the rebuilt tranny is in and everythingelse is back together. While the tranny was out, i decided to put in a new clutch. Well the new clutch is a lot thicker than the one i took out, and theres so much tension in the cable. How do I loosen the clutch cable to the right tension? Is there a rachet thing on the pedal, or behind the firewall somewhere?? If i get this adjusted and put tranny fluid in, I'm all set to go. BTW, ATF goes in t-5 manuals right? When i took the shifter cover off, its looked like ATF in there, justwanna make sure im putting in the right stuff. thanks guys.

Correct on the ATF.
Try pulling the clutch pedal towards you with your hand. Then depress it a couple times and it should self adjust. andy |
