i found a half decent 69 chevelle body?
should i try to get it or not, if i do, i will try & put a 302, or 351 w in it & a c-4 , with a a powered by ford sticker in the back window, i do like 69 chevelles, my first car at 16, was a 69 ss, i will have to sell a few things that i have pack ratted for years, should i do it?

I would, but I'd build a 502 for it instead. My '69 SS was alot of fun! I hate to say it, but those big block bow-ties aren't half bad!
Take care, -Chris |
If you get it go with a big block Chevy.

Unless you already have a 302 built and ready to drop, just buy a crate Chevy 350 and slap it in there. The 350 has soooo much more potential for add-ons than the 396.

naw man i want to put a ford engine in it, like everyone puts chevy engines in old fords, i dont like chevy engines anymore , they dont last very long, i like your idea about putting the wing on your chevy & bugging the ricers, heheh.:D

Just as well. That engine has the fuel pump and the power steering pump mounted to the back of the block, and they're driven off the back of the cam. We don't need no stinking transmissions!
