351w swap oil pan (dipstick length ???'s)
 

Howdy all,
I have a 351w swap oil pan that I bought off the internet with the screw-in dipstick tube. Problem is the dipstick is missing. Does anyone have the length measurement they can tell me? I would really appreciate it! I have a stock 302 dipstick from an 84 GT I can modify.

i would find a salvage yard and get one there, or spend a few $$$'s and buy one..... they can't be much..

It doesn't matter. Just get a chrome (or any) one, fill the engine with the right amount of oil, run it for a few minutes, then pull the dipstick and use a punch to mark where the oil level is. That's your new "full" mark.
