Timing

I'm gonna be doin my timing tonight I just got a timing gun and was wondering about that little free mod to get a little extra hp , where should I set my timing, my car is a 90gt 5spd and bone stock.

I am assuming you know how to reset your timing, marking the balancer and removing/re-installing the SPOUT connector and such. Bone stock I would set it at 13 degrees and try it out, a common mistake is advancing too much, then you get driveability problems and so forth. Have you removed the air silencer, or got a K&N yet? Have you set your TPS to .98 volts, just wondering, there are lots of FREE mods available.
