Diagnostic equipment

does anyone know of a diagnostic scanner that hooks up to a PC or laptop? I was looking thru the haynes manual and they talk about a Diacom scanner, but its for GM and Chrysler only. I want the PC type because it does alot more than a hand help like a snapon or OTC

Snap-on and OTC both make scan tools that interface with a pc.

Take care,
-Chris

Do you happen to know where i can find them? I was on snap ons website and all i found was the hand held scanners and the cartridges.

Snap-on's MT2500 Scanner will transfer data to your pc when their MT2500GRFX Scan Gra-Fix PC Graphics Software is installed on it. Both are available through Snap-on.

Take care,
-Chris

I've looked at some code scanners and seen a $700+ price tag. Is there such a thing as a low cost scanner for all us weekend warriors?
