New Tires
 

I need new tires for my 96 cobra and i was wandering if someone could lead me in the right direction....I have bf goodrich 245/45ZR17 on the front and drag radial 275/40ZR 17 on the rear...Ive heard Falken tires were pretty good and they are a little cheaper than bf goodrich so any help would be appreciated..........I would like to get tires that are the same size though so i can rotate them...im not even sure what size tires are supposed to be on my car stock..

Should be a sticker on the driver's door post with recommended tire sizes.

245-45-zr17 were stock on the cobra. I run Falken ze-502 245-45-zr17 on my 97 GT. The have good traction new. i have to rotate them every 3,000 miles and just to get 30,000 miles out of a set. extremely good for the price. i have found them to be a good all around tire. not as sticky as some.

I have some 245-45-ZR17 BF Goodridge Comp TA's for sale if you'd like them. With 50 - 60% tread left. They came off of a cobra like yours. I'd take 175 for all four. Let me know. E-mail address daniel.herrmann@gecits.ge.com
