Stupid question but what does your car roll over at? Cause I live in Canada and we go by km's so we need 1 million km's (on most cars I see) to roll over. Here is a pic of my buddies car that rolled over to 300,000km (180,000 Miles on his orignal engine and trans with pretty much no problem.) This is one car that will never die, his engine is cleaner then most brand new cars.

fox cars roll over at 100,000 miles. They dont have a 6th column so the odometer goes back to 00000. hehe.

Hmmmm. I don't recognize it off the top, but it looks very GM, and kinda Oldsmobile.
Take care, -Chris |
It's a 1988 Chevy Celebrity. :D
My buddy loves that car, he's going to be GM Mechanic. We made a friendly bet that we're going to race when we're 25, I'll have my Ford and he'll have his GM. He told me what he was going to be driving, I laughed at him but let's see if anyone can guess what it is with this clue, it's a V8, and 4.0L. That's all he gave me (Also being a GM) and taking that the Firebird and Camaro are gone. |
A Chevy Celebrity running well at 180k???? Damn, I always figured those cars to be the ultimate pieces of crap...I guess your buddy got lucky (or maybe he's a darn good mechanic!) I wish him happy motoring! :)

And yeh I see alot of Celebs out there on the road and I don't know of the engine to die quickly. He takes really good care of her though so that could be a reason too. It had alittle rust around the car and he got some body work done and repainted. It's also the same guy and car that I was in on January 6th when we got into the accident. |
