stock fuel pressure...adjustable??
Is there a way to adjust the fuel pressure on my 88GT or do I need to buy a FPR?
ALso, what does it mean when the engine stalls or wants to stall when I make a sharp left corner when the my fuel level is low? I thought it was bad gas or fuel pump at one time but I notice it does this every time my fuel level is 1/4 tank or less. I'm thinking maybe it's because the fuel pump becomes uncovered and starved for fuel until the car is level again. Any ideas? ------------------ '82 GT 351W C-4,BBK headers,Carter 625 carb,Comp.Cam,Flowmaster exhaust. 1988 GT...T-5,bone stock |
The stock FPR isn't adjustable. To adjust it you need to get a new one. Also what you discribed about the stalling sounds like you answered the question your self.

Yeah, but is that supposed to be normal?
I never heard anyone else with an electric fuel pump complain about that problem. ------------------ '82 GT 351W C-4,BBK headers,Carter 625 carb,Comp.Cam,Flowmaster exhaust. 1988 GT...T-5,bone stock |
