"Women only" parking lot
 

With the high rate of attacks on women in secluded parking lots, especially during evening
hours, the Minneapolis City Council has established a "Women Only" parking lot at the Mall
of America.

Even the parking lot attendants are exclusively female so that a comfortable and safe
environment is created for patrons. Below is the first picture available of this world-first
women-only parking lot in Minnesota.

Funny.....but there are "women only" parking places in Europe. A lot of clubs and parking garages reserve the spaces closest to the door for women to reduce the chances that they are accosted by perverts in dark or remote areas that don't get much foot traffic.

I dated a cop for a while and he could tell by the way someone was driving, if they were female, asian (no offense I'm just telling a story), or talking on a cell phone. He would say oh no we have a DWW (driving while woman) up here!! I have to say, 98% of the time he was right!!

One of the times he was wrong was when he met me!! I was speeding and ended up with a date instead of a ticket!! :D

I like that you mentioned the Mall of America. I was forced to go there on my trip to Minneapolis, and it was terrible. What is so great about making a mall bigger? Other than being able to get beer there, I saw nothing good about the idea.

George, Washington is on the East side of the state. There is a huge concert venue out there. Really cool, it is a natural ampla(sp?) theater.

That's sad, because I thought your job sounded really cool. I guess everything gets old after a while.

Personally, I think my problem is not a lot of girls hang out in my garage, or on the back of my bike (which is currently running a solo seat). Since I spend most of my free time in one of those two locations, my dating pool is pretty shallow. Not that I really find it a problem.;)
