2003 Cobra Parts

Does anyone have any links to parts for the 2003 Cobra?
Im looking for...
X-Pipe
Catbacks
Blower pulley
Cold Air Intake Kit

The X-pipe and cat-backs SHOULD be the same as a 2001 Cobra.

As far as a Cold air induction, I don't think that there is a FORMAL package for it yet. Take a look at the article in 5.0 Mustang. It looks like they just fabricated an open element setup.

I've heard of folks using the blower pulley from a Lightning for a couple of extra pounds of boost....

That's all I've got right now.

Try contacting Mike Wilson at Dallas Mustang if you have further questions....

Actually i think the engine was placed farther back in the engine compartment on the 2003 to improve handling, but i could be wrong. If thats the case then im not certain the 2001 exhaust parts will work.
As far as using an Open element backyard setup, the engine bay gets extremely warm.
The blower pully is another story,Im not going to swap out a pulley onto a brand new car without knowing what the actual boost pressure is going to be ect...
These parts are to expensive to order without knowing for a fact that they are going to work and what the end result is going to be.

Hehe,
Welcome to owning a brand new "selective" car Doug.
Formal kits should be out pretty soon, but for now, the pickings will be slim. (and for the brave.)

As far as an open element setup, you could argue it a couple of ways....
1. An open element setup (Like a K&N Filtercharger) may get warmer air, but there is no bend in the tube nor restriction in the air flow before the MAF.
2. In the CAI's favor you have the cold (or less hot) air from the fenderwell...

As far as dyno #s, I've never seen a palpable difference in horsepower between the 2 types of setups. (Just an opinion from my experience...)

Like I said, I would contact Mike at Dallas Mustang if you have specific questions as they've already played with a few 03 Cobras.
(especially exhaust work...)

I've heard that the FRPP FR500 catback works on '03 Cobras and offers good gains.

saw a pulley in action, it was the next size down, MM&FF was at ETown, NJ testing, but didn't give away a lot of info. I an tell you this, though, that sucker went 12.0@116 on the GoodYear F1 radials! it was more than likely 10 lbs, up from the stock 8...

What would be the best Chip on the market today for this car?
As far as reliability, increased performance, and Cost.
My only Mods will be those listed above.
X-pipe
catbacks
Blower pulley (i want 10 or 11 pounds boost no more)
Cold air Intake.

Also has anyone heard anything about the knock sensors retarding the timing to much on the 32 Valve DOHC cobra engines?
